Default Quaife peg or vernier cam pulleys

Which is the better ??
Are the peg ones not as a fine adjustment
can anyone tell me the pro’s and cons to either

There’s not as much adjustment on the Quaife peg type but they do look good, I have a set if your looking for some mate.

You can get perfect adjustment on the Quaife ones there just a tad fiddly to setup I would use them over the 3 or 4 bolt adjustable pulley

I have used all types and express no preference but technically quafie better as should never come loose.

My mate had a lucky escape 2 weeks ago when the bolts in his exhaust vernier came loose. He came back in from a blast and heard a jingly sound. Opened the bonnet for a look and a couple of the bolts were falling out lol

I wouldn't use anything other than quaife as i had a set of the other type move causing all 16 valves to fuck up

quiafe are steel and last whereas others are typically aluminium and wear out quickly. as said above however, quiafe are fiddly to adjust untill you work out a tecnique or make a special tool for the job !
