Finally got the cosworth idle control valve working when cold but the revs start to rise when it's been driven and gets warmer.what is there I can do to help fix this.

So you have not got it working

Do the revs drop once the valve is unplugged?

If yes, then something is telling it to open.

Managed to get it working. Only issue is the revs are a bit slow at dropping
