Only just seen this post..I wouldn't touch this car..Pal used to own it early 80's and used it for hillclimbs til he rolled it . It had 45000 on clock when it was 3 yr old so it must have been in back to the future time machine if 37yrs later its only got 34k!!! Pal reshelled it to black bodyshell but it wasn't a great job

To be fair, if it was Re-shelled the rolled red shell should not be off putting as long as it’s a good replacement (ideally genuine) shell.

 

Granted but if you didn't know you wouldn't be happy would you looks like he didn't from his post

 

Some one owns it now. I suppose its wouldn't have been unusual back in the day
