Default Does anyone know this MK2 RS2000

I can’t seen to upload a link but it’s a black escort rs2000 with black interior
registration. YES 964T.
It’s for sale in the Towcester area
im looking at buying it and it looks like it’s been restored at some point in the past but has no receipts just the V5
the seller is selling for his father in law.
it’s priced well at 24k
just got my cautious head on
ehat you guys think.

Only just seen this post..I wouldn't touch this car..Pal used to own it early 80's and used it for hillclimbs til he rolled it . It had 45000 on clock when it was 3 yr old so it must have been in back to the future time machine if 37yrs later its only got 34k!!! Pal reshelled it to black bodyshell but it wasn't a great job

To be fair, if it was Re-shelled the rolled red shell should not be off putting as long as it’s a good replacement (ideally genuine) shell.
