Inner CV joint goes up & down at the differential
Hi,
i got this Focus 2009 1.6 petrol, 110.000 miles, vibrating on acceleration, especially noticeably uphill, even with a moderate load. Hard to tell exactly from the cabin, but sounds like center bottom to passanger footwell.
Replacing the front (rear) bushes, which were totally shot, helped a bit, but replacing the engine and transmission mounts made it drive and sound good again - for 4 months.
Now the sound is coming back. it's subtle, but it's there.
the passanger side driveshaft has no noticeable up/down play, or maybe the middle support bearing holds it well in place.
The shorter, drivers side shaft does have noticeable u&d play in itself and at the differential gear.. take a look at the video
What is up with that?
Thanks
