So what should I expect to spend money on when the time comes. has a common issue been highlighted on any parts over the 10yr on the road? I'm only noticing positive things when I have a read. been highlighted IV got it UN modded and its 2nd owner medium mileage. I'm not noticing many with that history when I look. What shows do folk recommend entering if I go for it?

 

Mk2 ST ….. water ingress in the boot & footwells.

 

They are generally decent cars. Well screwed together and if looked after, very reliable. After all there are x amount driving around daily, and unlike some cars, there's no real regular horror stories reported on the forums.

Just use the correct oil, genuine plugs (or RS plugs) and maybe consider having the block mod carried out when the timing belt is due to be changed for peace of mind.
