Default 1964 Lincoln Continental

I picked this up a couple of months back and it is my dream car. It has ford heritage and says ford on it in many places so thought id post some pics up.

Pics are from the detailers and ultimate stance show 2018:

So far ive had mr whitewalls increase the size of my whitewalls, had it detailed and changed, plates and opened the boot

Future plans:
Get the bench seat repaired (with old leather so it looks factory)
Fix the vaccum locks
Fix the radio and clock
Gas the air con
Fit air suspension
cruise round like a G

The plan is to take it across to worthersee next may

That’s a cool car. I would love to cruise around in one of them.

This one was just over 20k

You can get them about 12 to 15k but it is very much dependent on year and colour. A 64 black on black car first sold into california is very desirable. Some can cost 100k

I think i had quite a good buy, it was originally up for 27k so i knocked them down quite a bit and it has had a bare metal spray

The metalwork from devious customs in the states for the air ride and front control arm kit has arrived.

Just waiting on the accuair management to arrive from only charged dubs then it will be much lower.

Also im going to drive it to austria in may for worthersee

This will be so cool with air ride on, accuair are great quality. Will there be much fabrication or is it mostly bolt on?

Its a bolt in kit, you only have to weld arms to the axle and a bit of trimming

Here is the basics in the video below:

Devious customs do the metal work and bags for $3500 but the management is close to Ł2500 in the UK and then there was fitting and moving all the exhaust and brake lines etc...

Engine is out for a rebuild and repaint the bay. Full under bonnet restoration coming.

Rebuild kit for the motor and gearbox ordered from the states and the cleaning has begun.

Block is now also stripped down ready for machining.

I have MSD atomic EFI to go on it too
