Default Engine build

So after looking into the engine side of things what will and won’t work
this is the spec I’m going for ( May be tweaked )
200 block long studded
standard crank ( polished )
Arrow rods
big wing sump
mild ported head
BD14 / 16 cams ( or similar)
BE 7670 with nortech manifold
hart inlet
wasted spark kit

what sort of figures would I be looking at with this type of setup
was hoping for 570 as been told it’s a sweet spot for a road going Cosworth
cheers guys.

I think the biggest decider if your after the most power and torque you can get from the turbo set up your using. Has to be from what I can gather is compression ratio head spec cam spec and who maps it. Anyone can bolt an engine together but them factors all working together is what gets you the results

I’m sure Mark built a standard engine with this turbo and had some great results
it will be running after market management also.

I think you will need pocketed pistons for the cams. I think your spec and power will make the 570. Don’t forget to spec the downpipe and exhaust big enough.

So will you be building the engine yourself or are you having it done ?
Interested in this as more power is next on my list as have reached the safe limit of my engine as it's not long studded at he moment
