Can anyone help me to find informations about a VIN Number?

It should be a 3 door Sierra Cosworth, but i don't find anything about it, and have no document of it.

 

It's definitely a 1986 3 door Sierra buts thats as far as I can say from just the number.

Do you have access to the VIN plate?

 

No it was a barn find, no documents no plates

 

Fortunately i found the plates...
Maybe we can get some more informations now?

 

These are my VIN plates, so yours should look identical to these with the exception of the colour.
I can see a very obvious difference between yours and mine straight away in the 4th box down on the silver plate. Mine says 1700, yours is N1H1L, and also the vslue in the 'Type' box is different.
Dunno what those refer to, but I'm sure someone will.

the 1700 figure is gross weight and the same figure in the second box, or the letters and no figure just means it's not type approved for towing.
