i was speaking to some different people who know there stuff with 3dr cossies and some are telling me the chassis numbers should be stamped up from underneath, whilst others are telling me they should be stamped down and its only saff cossie shells that are stamped up

My 3dr shell is stamped up, however i checked about 4-5 other cossie's and some are up and some are down

so my question is still unanswered, perhaps they changed at a certain time through the buildyear

does anybody actually know??????????????????

Its not going to help you but...

I've had four 3 doors over the years and 2 were up and 2 were down..


I am now on my 5th and its Not stamped as its a new shell so i'd be interested to know the answer too....

 

Stamped position depend if it was before or after tea time on plant.

 

yes ok.......but to stamp them up you would need reversed stamps so why have 2 sets of stamps..when just one style would do unless it was for a reason

 

well i think what happened was each person was responible for his/her stamps and whoever had reverse stamps stamped in reverse and those who never erm never


face it man we have seen ourselves a few different 3 doors and some were up and some were down it don't matter as long as they all tally up i guess
