Default Ford focus 1.6 2009 engine swap or upgrads

Hi i have a 1.6 petrol ford focus 2009 i think there no pull to it as to what i was exspecting i looked the internet for engine mods and canot find to much so i started looking at if i could put the st2.5 engine in this if so Can i just put the engine and loom straight in off a st with the standard ecu ?

Or what mods can be done that will get me to 300 brake mark?

Just buy an st to start with or at least a 2.0, they can be had for the same price as your 1.6. I also have a 2009 focus 1.6 and i certainly wouldn't be using it as a base for a target 300bhp.
