Does a cat c effect the price much on a Escort s2 RS Turbo?

Is there a figure like 20% off market value? Is it that big a deal if the cars never been welded an poss wrote off for somting as minor like parts no longer available?

Typically, any Cat decision made to a vehicle is a negative. But as long as you have as many details as possible to prove that it was due to something like you said, it should hold it's value a little better. The more documentation the better for sure though.

I would’ve thought most series 2s will have had as many new panels by now as a cat c registered car would have......I guess even buying a restored car it comes down to quality of repairs.

cat c does put a lot of people off and can hurt its value especially to the purist

It’s cat s- structural repairable
cat N for none structural repairable
and there is another one but I don’t no!
