Going Borg warner 7064 next year, would siemans 72lb injector be suitable to make the most of the turbo?

what supporting mods do you need to make 520/530 with a 7064 mark? Would an engine with standard ports but bigger inlet manifold and uprated inlet cam make this?

477hp is most I have seen on a stock engine and a hart inlet. I did one with cams but the owner crashed the car before I got to see what Hp it makes.
On a ported head and cams I have seen 521hp and 535ftlb.

There was a set of fog light grills on the rs500 Facebook page last week for £70 and sold instantly. Even these seem to be creeping up in price since the last time I spoke to you.

Do they not do an alternative or can you not use bigger and just not use them to there full potential

I would run 83’s if going for around 500hp.

You could always fit 72’s and have it mapped then see if they are still fueling enough?
if you do max them out just drop the boost back a bit until you can get hold of 83’s

Cheers Paul

I have Siemens Low impedence 83lb injectors in my 2wd Saff. I had to change to an L8 ecu with a MSD driver baby board. To run any of the modern high impedence injectors you need an up to date ECU.

what's a progamapped ecu?

have you actually tried running high imp injectors on weber marelli or are you just guessing?

most ecu's designed for low impedance injectors can happily drive high impedance injectors just fine.

I fancy a BW 7064 on mine once it's up and running again but will have to wait as spent far to much money on it already this year with management, brakes, and wheels.
My only worries are cracking the block as I have the ARP stud and nut kit fitted and don't fancy an engine build just so I can change turbo so need to investigate this more.

I thought from what other people are using, 1000cc injectors would be needed for 650bhp.
