Thumbs down haven't the £1 shops gone down hill?

lots of them near me and they no longer stock these great £1 bargains:

pack of 5 paint brushes (use them once and bin them)
aerosols of primer or matt black
tin of brush-on matt black paint
large and very handy plastic tubs with lids
3 microfibre cloths
2 x double syringe of epoxy
12 pack of superglue
multipack of metric spanners
various car valeting stuff
safety goggles (i'm now relying on the 20 odd pairs lying around the garage)
silicone sealer in white black or brown

prob many more i cant think of and thats just car stuff...

Problem is that £1 is worth about 70 pence compared to when they first opened, exhnage rate, pound strength, inflation have all taken their toll

Probably either too much cost to import them or trouble sourcing them with all thats going on?

They have probably found it easier to shift over to food items that sell more easily and there are probably less regulations about selling/importing them like say the glue's.

I used to always get a load of micro fibre cloths at the pound shops.
