just happened yesterday, when the van comes to idle it started cutting out .engine malfunction light on along with srs light and the rev counter stopped working.when you strt it back up it goes as normal.it cut out about 20 times yesterday but only twice today

anyone any ideas?

 

Are the revs irattic at idle?? There us a fuel pressure switch on the back of the fuel pump that could cause your fault. The switch is held on with 2 Allen key bolts. Easy to change.

no it idles ok mate .when i start the van the rev counter goes to about 1k then goes back to zero and doesnt work at all.

 

I just hope the pump isn't fooked.

 

egr valve is another culprit

the only thing is the van is flying otherwise .takes the boot no hestiation
