i have to agree with you mate ,rough and ready but put very simply.for a standard engine i would say there is enough info to get youby.
big spec engines will have engine build secrets developed over years of expierience

 

Yes agree with you James I'd had engines sat in the garage and heads I fancied taking apart but just wouldn't because of the order of things didn't stop me as a kid I took everything apart to see how it was made cossies are a bit more pricey
