Probably not so hard to do for a supercharger, as the pressure is a direct linear function of engine speed. Unlike a turbo, which fluctuates.

This is what I was thinking. Would the ecu not need to know the supercharger air pressure??

I expect that by the fact the advert says "could do with a standalone ECU" it probably doesn't run perfectly. My friend turboed a VR6 golf on a budget and he just added a load of fuel pressure, upped the injectors and got some dodgy solder in chip off the net...it was a right old bodge but the car was still very quick, it just didnt drive well.....

I wonder if someone has bodged it enough OR does this ECU run closed loop as standard and maybe has compensated a bit to alow the extra fuelling etc.?

yarp, the mass airflow sensor will give a fair approximation.

Probably done the old american trick of a rising rate pressure reg to chuck more fuel in when it comes on boost.
