Hello all!ive a 1990 sierra sapphire gls with the 2.0 dohc 8 valve engine.im just wondering does anyone know what work is involved in fitting the 16 valve rs2000 cylinder head.thanks

 

The pistons will have cut outs for the valves.

But why not find a 2.3 16v Granada engine and use that.

Or a possibility is the 2.3 galaxy engine just remove balance shafts.

Will make a good car great with that combo imo also seen turbocharged ones aswell.

 

I seem to remember a mod where the 2.3 head is fitted, which increases torque.
