I'm looking to buy myself another car, looking for something fairly new 2013 onwards.
Want an auto with paddle shift, 2 door coupe but with 5 seats to get all the family in and easily tuneable to 700 hp with basic mods
Have been looking at new RS6 but it's an estate, M5 4.4v8 but it's 4 door and the C63 AMG 4.0 V8 but they all seem to be 4 door aswell, although there all tuneable to about 700hp with just a remap and exhaust
Does anyone else know of any other options ?

Probably for when he's not carrying them and wants something interesting to drive?
Surely Audi/Merc/bmw do something two door that could have the power upped?
Mrc in banbury should be able to tune something like a s5 up to that power easily

new mustang but only 4 seats, easy tune to over 700hp with just bolt on goodies, available 2018 10 speed auto flappy paddle or 6 speed manual, or 2015+ 6 speed flappy or manual
Shame the dodge charger is a four door as that is nice, comfy and the high spec one's already have 700hp apparently (if the case of American ponies having shorter legs isn't still valid)
I'd steer very clear of the challenger though, might be a two door but no way I'd ever want to drive one around the fen's let alone San Francisco recently, just way too wide and like a barge to drive. And for the size of the car there still wasn't much room in the back seats. Most of the car is either engine bay or boot.

The few I've had now I'd struggle to think anyone could sit in the back which is a shame. There is no legroom with them unfortunately as I really liked the 2018 one I had for a bit recently, was comfortable and certainly a step up from the previous generation.

I see the Audi RS6, BMW M5 and Merc AMG 4.0 all have a high end V8 that should run 700hp with just a remap and exhaust, they all seem to be 4 door though, I'm gonna have a read up later and see if there is a Merc coupe with full size 5 seats and that motor in
My next door neighbour has a Mercedes cls twin turbo v8 with an unsilenced exhaust. Sounds like a bomb going off every time he starts it up, scares the shit out of my kids

My old r33 gtr was ideal loads of rear room for 3 and 2 door coupe, but it's to old and rb26 and transmission not what I'm after.

Weird isn’t it, you can’t be the only one wanting that spec. I suppose the majority want 4 doors if 5 seats. Oddly, when I bought my 3series bmw the nicest models all had silly humps where the 5 th seat would be.
do they still make the clk63? that's 2 doors but it might only have the 4 seat option as well. does the number of doors really matter that much? its an odd option wanting 5 seats and only 2 doors.

Tricky one that with you wanting a coupe, the most sensible option has got to be one of the cars youve allready mentioned like the f10 m5 and rs6s ect. Not sure if youve seen the videos of the evolve m5 on youtube? With basic mods there 750hp and keep up with or beat most people at vmax events. Are you selling you gtr or just want another toy?
After driving the challenger around its just way too big for driving on us roads let alone uk roads and considering the size of it there should be way more space inside the car. If you are thinking of one of them I'd strongly suggest trying one beforehand. We picked one up in San Francisco and took it up to monteray bay and I hated driving it, yet I liked driving the charger when I had that just its a four door.
Only downside I found with the charger was if you have the aircon on it mists up the lower section of the windscreen so you have to keep using the wipers every so often.
Rs5 would most likely be a good candidate or s5.
Its funny how people expect you to either want a 4 door or not to have any space in the back like old cars used to.

Keeping the gtr I just can't get all the family in it now, RS6 would be ideal if they did a 2 door coupe

Rs5 hasn't got the beasty tt V8 in so that's out, nissan did it perfectly 20 years ago with the r33 gtr, a rhd dodge demon would be more than perfect but with the costs of converting to rhd tue costs get ridiculous

I think there is demons here but there Ł136000 which is madness as they were only 100000 dollars in the us, that's some mark up !

RS5 only tuneable to about 520hp with remap and exhaust so no good, im in no rush but looks like might have to be an RS6 with Litchfield 750 upgrade at this rate

I do really fancy a V8 aswell as they have the best soundtrack imo
Give doug at Mrc a ring, I'm sure they can get more out of it than 520bhp. Thats just the basic stage 1 from memory.
Or see what else they recommend.
And why limit yourself to something boring when taking the family around, are they always going to be in the car? At least if you get something you want then its a good all rounder....

I'm getting ABIT long in the tooth for all this major modifying, just remap and exhaust is all I want to do so car is basically standard and will still be reliable and just work
Keeping the gtr so I guess I still have my 2 door coupe there, I've been impressed by the missus q7 so I'd happily buy another Audi

an older car the fits the bill, i think its a 5 seat and factory 612hp is the CL65, the bi turbo v12, i'm sure all the CL's were 5 seat, with a remap that would be over 700hp easy, and they look good as well being a pillar less coupe
