Default 2.0 Blacktop Turbo Westfield Project!

Hi Guys. Nice to meet you all! Im sure i used to be a member on here years ago but lost my login details and no longer have the email address i used to had to make a new account.

So before i had a Westfield kit car that had a R1 bike engine in it, it was nuts. I always wanted to build a 2.0 blacktop turbocharged and throw that in there. Got half way through the project and some life changing things happened and ended up selling it and moving away, so im starting again.

So my plan was to use a 2.0 blacktop, forged internals, turbocharged, want to build it for around 400bhp but run it at 350. Looking to buy an engine this time next week but have a few questions.

When i bought the previous zetec engine the plan was to use the standard head, but since doing some research reciently i have heard you can use the st170 head and with some porting it flows stupidly well? What would be involved in using this head on a 2.0 blacktop block as the st170 uses VVT which i wouldn't want?

Had a couple of things arrive in the post today. The breather blanking plate and the Oil pressure sensor T peice which will feed the turbo. Not a very good post to start off with but have to start a project somewhere!

Any tips/ideas/photos of similar builds?

Hope you all have a good friday!

ATB.
