Hi , I have an 08 1.6 tdci 124k a d am starting to have a few problems. First problem is in 4th gear, if I give it some welly the cog with exclamation mark light comes on. It goes off when I change into 5th but comes back on if I accelerate heavily but goes off once I lift my foot and then put it back down again.( If I drive like a granny it doesn't come on at all) EML is not on at any time.



second problem is a nasty squeal sound when sitting stationary (only when car is warm) sound doesnt change when clutch is depressed/released and does not make any noise when the car is moving. Doesn't sound like a belt.
