Default Sierra RS500 Coilover

Hello,

i have a Sierra RS500 that has been stored away for almost 5 yearsbnow and recently I’m looking to bring the car back to the road.

I decided to to take the Original dampers away and keep them and put a new set of coilover for driving. I currently saw GAZ is among one of the most popular option? How are they and what is the best option I can seek for?

Thanks

Many will say coilovers are too harsh. And that you have to spend a fortune on a fancy make custom units..
However, I don't think this is the case.
I have ran GAZ standard coilovers (GHA kit I think its called), this was OK but not did feel a little harsh.
More recently I changed to the GAZ Gold coilover kit, and found it to be a much smoother subtle ride even with harder springs on than the previous budget kit.
So I would recommend the GAZ GOLDs, you can request alternative spring rates when you order them if you wanted to, but they will advise for a road or track car.

The car will be for roaduse only. And like said I don’t need any performance gains the cR will mainly for driving to car show or driving to car events only.

I also see Bilstein does the dampers as well?
