Default It was not the 3 bar map censer

well about two weeks back I was having running problems with my focus cosworth and I really fort it was the 3 bar map censer that was at fault . Well I stuck at it doing tests
and iv got to the bottom of it . And I'm glad to say iv now sorted it and it cost a massive £15 it was the blue censor .
The car was spot on when cold but when it got hot that's when it started over fauling big time witch started me thinking. A bit of a pain to do as my setup is not standard and with having the WRC breath on made it very hard to get to but I did it and it's running spot on now

My saff was similar to the fault you had. It was ok doing 50 60 mph. As soon as I got into town traffic and the engine temp got hot the car would misfire and run like a bag of shit.

It did my head in as I would start it up from cold and it ran spot on . I would drive it down the lane and it ran spot on still then the moment I would give it some stick it would go sick . It was not till I got it back home and I fort I would have to send it in to be mapped.
So I come in the house for a cup of tea . Well 15 min had gone by I went back to the car and it started up spot on and drove spot on then it hit me that the water temp was low . So I did a bit of research and read up about this blue censer could do this so i popped into GGR as there only down the road from me £15 job done .
So all I can say to any one that has a fuelling
problem change this censer first as it could be fault and if it's not the problem then it was only £15

Pretty much how my mk1 was behaving. Worth noting that there are new "not so good" blue cts sensors about online too.

Yep, just like the MAP sensor (which can have serious consequences).
