UPDATE! I have been given the engine now as I did work on his yard (am a sparky). It's out the same year car will it be a easy conversion? Cost is not a problem now and I don't want too buy another car. Thanks

Have a look at both engines and look at things like the loom, engine mounts, exhaust position and gear linkage, manufacturers tend to work off the same platform so it will only be mounts etc...ideally you want the whole donor to transfer the different parts, some have inlets etc on the other side of the bay.

Depends what you mean when you say engine, does it come with everything or is it just the motor, you’ll need the engine loom, management, pipework, exhaust and so on, I don’t know if the gearbox is the same either. Personally it wouldn’t be something I’d do, I’d recommend selling the car and spare engine and using the money to buy a diesel ST. Great cars btw, I have an ST3 diesel.
