OK, 200 block, new pistons & rings (7.8:1 comp ratio), new oil pump, standard Es Cossie head, Group A head gasket, group A cambelt.

Power if fitted with greens and a T34?

I would say: 340-348 BHP no problem......

Doug.

Chip, he has built it as per his usual 330-340 BHP spec with 7.8:1 comp ratio and Group A head gasket. His usual 400 BHP spec is 7.6:1 comp......

But yes, with a cometic head-gasket and T34 or MD-240 turbo that is a 380-400 BHP engine

If it wasnt for the sheer number of other things i doing at the moment already i would have that off you doug, with a modern turbo instead of a T34 that would be perfect spec for my cossie.

But i really cant justify it sadly at the moment

Ive spent 30K on bits for cars since december

Here's hoping no one buys it for a few months though

Has the head been skimmed?
Presumably the head was overhauled also?
Are the pistons std diameter?
has the crank been ground?
How much without manifolds please?
do you have an invoice for it still and why was it rebuilt and why didnt you use it?

Sorry for the Q's hope you understand

Cheers
Damian

When I took my Es Cossie to Harvey Gibb for the 500 BHP conversion (brand new engine/drive train) there was nothing actually wrong with the above engine, it had done 76 k miles (70 k miles as standard 220 BHP....and then 6 k miles as stage 3). Harvey asked me what I wanted done with the "old" engine and I said to rebuild it to a good Stage 3 spec that would be good for fast road and track days, and maybe I would fit it in my Saph one day. I said to Harvet: Do everything that needs doing to the engine as I wanted it to be a reliable 340 - 345 BHP spec engine.
Has the head been skimmed? YES
Presumably the head was overhauled also? YES full overhaul
Are the pistons std diameter? AFAIK NEW pistons & rings fitted
has the crank been ground? Dont know......
How much without manifolds please? Price without mainfolds: DEDUCT £ 100
do you have an invoice for it NO INVOICE paid CASH
still and why was it rebuilt and why didnt you use it? SEE above Sorry for the Q's hope you understand

Doug.
