Default RS1600i SEAT renovation

Hi, I have a spare set of seats (and door trims) and want to tighten up the seat base and back cloth, plus change seat badges. Has anyone done this and if so, how did they go about it?

Also have a small hole on back seat base, but have some spare cloth and thinking of peeling seat cloth back and sticking patch underneath hole - again anyone done similar?

Finally, how easy is it to separate seat back from back, as would make the whole process easier?

Words of wisdom and any pictures appreciated.

Cheers

Take it to a professional upholsterer, pair of front seats cost me £250 & looked as new.
Its the scrim underneath the material that degenerates with age & the material goes baggy.
