Hello everyone.

Is there a difference between the Fiesta RS 1.6 Turbo EFI intake manifold and the Escort RS 1.6 Turbo EFI intake manifold?

I have 3 manifolds for the EFI and none of them have provisions for an idle air control valve. However when I look up some photos of 1.6 CVH turbo I see manifolds with idle air control valves bolted to it.

Can anyone clarify this for me?

 

There was never a efi escorts rs turbo built by Ford. They are all conversions.

The Escorts and Orion that had a cvh efi were just a 1.6 naturally aspirated engine.

Some of the efi vehicles had a remote iscv others had them bolted to the inlet manifold near the throttle body.

Thank you so much. I was so confused looking this up on google. So does that mean that I have a Fiesta RS EFI manifold that uses a remote ISCV?

Is there a performance difference between the remote version of the manifold compared to the local version? As stated I have 3 of them and each has parts that I need to make one work...except for the ISCV.

 

I'm not 100% on which ones were which to be honest.

 

This is not mine but 2 of them look like this. The third one doesn't have any ports. Looks like someone took them off and aluminum welded flat. I will post that one.
