Hi everyone. Has anyone fitted 18 inch wheels on a Cossie? If you have what size tyres have you managed to get under the arches, and did you fit bigger discs and calipers?

 

There have been quite a few posts on this subject, look down the list of posts and you will find it.

 

The other posts all seem to be Road cars. This is for my Thundersaloon race car.

 

Different ball game for you then as you dont have to worry about the restrictions that you get with a road car. Bodywork can be cut etc so you should be able to fit quite big wheels and tyres. I would have thought you can get advice from other people who have raced their Sapphire Cosworths?

 

I'm finishing my thundersaloon at the moment and have opted for 17inch rims. front will be 10 inch wide and rears 13 inch. Limits tyre choice somewhat, but we've sourced slicks for the car

 

Sounds like you have overcome any bodywork issues so you can fit the wider tyres .Any photos to show us?
