Default Sierra and cossie instrument cluster/speedo.

Does anyone know if the needles can be changes on Sierra and cossie speedo, rev counter, fuel level and coolant level?

The reason im asking is cause ive noticed the orange paint(or what ever it is) has come off my needles.

I was thinking about getting a set of clocks and swapping them over.

Ive had a look today, the speedo needle looks to be tight. The black part of the needle comes off but i couldnt get the rest of it to come off.

Any help would be grateful.... thanks.

Yes the needles can come off. You need to pull them gently, but they can be quite tight. When putting them back on you need to check how they should be exactly because there is nothing to align the pins and needles.

So nice to see someone else willing to help out a fellow Ford enthusiast and not wanting a stupid inflated price for the parts.

Can't you paint them in position Glenn if you got a small artist brush or even orange nail varnish?

I could paint them on the car which is what i might do. Looking at the needles they look like they are painted at the bottom of the needle, the closest to the dails. I might just paint the top of the needles cause they will still light up.

I will have a look through the wifes finger nail paints lol.
