I have this problem with my 4x4, there is sometimes a misfire and the SECS monitor rpm intermittently reads high, indicating a wiring fault somewhere. Where is the rpm take off, anyone know??

The rpm is calculated by the engine management system from the time between the pulses of the crankshaft.
