Well after my engine rebuild: 1.6 bloke
Woesener piston an Conrod (std compression)
Ported Head 3 seats valve
piper cam 285t
stage 2 turbo
group A coil
turbosystem Chip
mongosse
.........

All this on MFI (i know it s not the best)
I putted a 5th injector but i never could set it up and the engine stalls and never start again up and the result was a sinked engine with full of fuel fuel every where in the Sump intercooler pipes......
What i did i take the contaminated oïl off new filter new oïl but i couldn t start the engine anymore

I left it for 2 years few weeks ago i tried the trun the crankshaft and everythings was bloked couldn t turn the camshaft Nothing
so i put a smal amount of oïl into the spark plug holes and the engine turn free again by hand

but now my problem is the compression piston1 : 58 psi only
piston 2 : 58 psi
piston 3 : 58 psi
piston : 130 psi
By cold engine as it do not starts.

so i put again oïl in the spark plugs holes to see if the piston rings wich are NEW mayby bad running in because i used directly full syntethic oïl after rebuild .
piston 1 :116 psi
piston2 : 130 psi
piston 3 : 100 psi
piston 4 :175 psi

i took the rocker cover of Nothing special to see

So what going on ? piston rings fucked?

Bore washed with all that excess fuel sloshing about.

Probably rebore, new rings & pistons, and maybe more.

I only drove it like this for one day. I hope its only the piston rings. What about the crank bearings.

Fuel in oil can be very dangerous even for the turbo...

 

Fuel wash would of stoped oil cooling and lubrication cause your engine build to be scrap and now needing a rebuild. Who did the original build was it built to a good tollorance etc to start with ?

 

there is one picture i was thinking it would be worst after the rebuild the engine was running like only for 1 hour and then this happend with this overfuelling With the finger i can not fell any scratch .. it s only skinrust as the engine was not running for 2 years and without oïl protection as it was wash of by the fuel...
i gonna make a honning and check the bore sizes .....

and gonna chack for sure the big end and main bearings ....

 

for me it looks like the cylinders are full of rust = dead engine, so a rebore and oversize pistons and rings, ore find a new block and have that bored to pistons and fit new rings

 

If you went oversize pistons when you built it 2 years ago there will be no bore wear and a hone might be enough... But probably not, the rust will probably be deeper than the tolerance for a hone and the rings themselves may be damaged too
