Default Cosworth swap...

Hi, I've a moonstone 3dr and wondered if anyone fancied a swap for a white car.
My car is fully restored, hpi clear and covered 87k miles.
If there is any interest please call me for full lowdown on the car. 07761754104.
Cheers,
Derek.

Wouldn't it be safer to keep the car you know and wrap it or even have it painted (probably a bit permanent for value)

I don't think I would want another persons problems if I know my car is sorted / restored.

That's very true. Had the car stripped back to bare shell and contemplated painting it white but did not like the thought of changing it from how it left the factory.
I've had a few people asking to buy the car but I'd much rather do a straight deal on a white car rather than trying to find one at a later date.

I think what you want with a straight swap will be very difficult. How are you both going to agree that your cars are equal in standard, specification and value? It sounds like you have done a lot of work with yours already and it must be almost like a new car?
If you have been offered a good price for it sell it and then look for a white one that you will be happy with.
Post us some photos of it so we can see what its like please.

As above, stick with what you know and get it wrapped or painted. (moonstone is a fine color)

Better to know your car than end up with some lemon with issues.

I'll give it a month or so then decide whether to sell or keep it!

Lovely looking car, just stick with it and have a poster of a white one on your wall?

Do you think you are going to get a swap for one as nice as yours? Get real, stick with what you have and be happy!!

Thanks for the comments, I may sell up but then if I can't find a good white car and prices keep rising I may find myself paying an extra £10k for one!!!
At least if I sell I'll still have the escort to keep me amused.

Is it really that important to you? There are so many people who would love to have your Moonstone 3 door in that condition! The colour is the most sought after and the respray you have had done is superb!!
