I think what you want with a straight swap will be very difficult. How are you both going to agree that your cars are equal in standard, specification and value? It sounds like you have done a lot of work with yours already and it must be almost like a new car?
If you have been offered a good price for it sell it and then look for a white one that you will be happy with.
Post us some photos of it so we can see what its like please.
