Reason: spelling
nothing mate literally I have no power to anything. I've had a meter over the battery and that's bang on plus it's o my 3 weeks old. I'm totally stumped
Try giving the wires at the back of the ignition a wiggle or tap the connection where the wires go into the connection.
I've had a similar prob on a 1600i and it presented the same
cheers mate I'll give that a try in the morning. if not be a cal to a auto electrician or just order a new loom as want it done asap for the retest on mot
The fact that it not got hazard lights which work or should work with ignition off tells me its not the ignition switch, I have seen a few fords over my 22 year in the motor trade with no electrics and its been a connection at the positive terminal of the battery.
problem solved!! spent an hour going over all cables connected to the positive side of the battery. found to crappy connections in one cable that had come loose beneath some shrink wrap. 're crimped the cables and shrink wrap and vrooom she's alive!! thanks for everyone's suggestions
defo mate since buying the car found so many bodges by the previous owner ita unreal. just hope they soon stop as apart from this one there cost me a fortune
