Hi all as above really mind is a 90 spec and the petrol and temp gauge have faded quite badly just wondering what people have done to rectify this. Can you get new dials or do you have to buy another set of clocks thanks
Yes you can a company re-manufactured them earlier this year. They can be found on Ebay. Sadly for us who own the early cars they never made a batch of pre-change over.
Sorted it guys company called lock wood dials and they do the original black ones to go over the top happy days better than paying 130 quid for some clocks on eBay cheers guys
over the top, so you'll have even duller back lights at night. I got lockwood white dials on mine and they aint great.
Ijust checked their site. I dont tink they just go over the top. They're proper ones you need to remoe the old faces. Also they only do black for fuel on the left, bit annoying as the most wanted is fuel on the right.

Oh right didn't realise they didn't go over the top so gotta peel the old ones off mind is 90 spec so I'm ok but your right they should do both. I'll give it a go see what there like was only 30 quid so not end of the world if there poor quality will let ya no when they turn up
I usually find the speedo that peels, I have 4 sets now that I am turning into 'mint' sets and then gonna shift them on I reckon...it was a NIGHTMARE trying to find EFI clocks as well!
Fuel on the left is the late one, Surely it's easy enough just to flip the graphic over and print some fuel on the right dials, But no one seems interested in doing it.
Are the light bulbs laid out differently on the early ones to? I remember the one with the fuel gauge on the right, the bulbs on the back of the cluster are more at the top at a 45degree angle or thereabouts or something?
