Hi all, the gearknob on my Sierra is a push up to get into reverse type, i would like to know if anyone knows had to get the gearknob off so I can change the push up plastic piece.

Some people say it unscrews and some people say it just pulls off.....I've tried both and it's not worked.

Anyone who knows, your help would be greatly appreciated.
