Hi,

I´m in progress to overhaul my 4 pot calipers and noticed there are some aftermarket pistons inside (2 different pistons mixed up in one caliper). Differences are hight and shape, but same diameter.

I don´t know if they were in fully working order before I took them apart.

Now I´m concerning that different pistons could have influence to performance, though different hight should be equalized by pressure distribution!?!

Does anyone have experience with mixing up aftermarket and original pistons?
Is it an issue or not worth thinking about?
