Default One for the LandRover peeps...

Got a 55 plate Discovery3 2.7 tdv6 with an intermittent poor idling issue.... Basically it'll chug and hunt and, if you don't catch it with a bit of throttle, it'll cut out.
I'm guessing it's going to be a temp sensor or MAF, I've got hold of the expected readings, so I can test oil and coolant sensors and I can find the oil temp, but cannot for the life of me find the coolant sensor!? Found the gauge sensor, but I'm assuming there's a seperate one for the ECU.
If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated!!

have you checked the EGR valves ? as they are prone for them. i have blanked ours off as it was flat as a fart pulling away ?
you could also do with plugging it in to a decent code reader & look live data hope this helps.
