S2 ..I want better sound quality and some cheap bass any
Suggestions ..this is my current set up that the car came with but it's really rubbish ..I don't mind buying a new head unit etc ..and apart from these speakers you see I'd like to get the rest discrete ..

What's everyone else running .

 

I've got a cracking sub and amp. 12" crossfire sub (from America iirc) in a sealed box with a nice jbl amp. Part of me says keep it but the other part says it's been stored away for a good 5 years lol

 

I'm after some cheap decent sound ..don't mind a nice single sub in boot ..but want to keep speakers in rear hidden like standard ..I don't mind sticking tweeters at the side of the fronts in the foot Well or changing them to some that have good tweeters built in ..if that makes sense.

Get some tweeters where the winder blanks are...

I'm running 4x 6 1/2 inch components, there amp'd up by a Alpine V12 big paving slab!
In the boot I've got 2x 12 inch Vibes powered by a Mtx amp
I keep saying I want to go down to 1 sub as it's never run at it's full potential ( thank god ) but I bought the subs/ amps new in 2001 and they've just gone from car to car.
Definitely got my monies worth from them

 

Will do mate ..at the minute I've about 800 to spend.
