2wd sappy fues box removal??
I need to remove the fues box to do a little rust repair between it and the inner wing, can anyone give me an idea of the procedure before I start.
Would love if someone can come up with a better solution
Loom is essentially hard wired into the fuse box, there is no way you can just unplug it I'm afraid. Best plan as stated already is to unbolt the fuse box and try to move it out of the way slightly so you can get access to your repair area. Depending how much space you need, if you feel you need to remove the whole thing it's a long process which I've personally done and it sounds like that's a non starter here.

I have a fuse box issue so I unbolted it, pulled it up and then pulled it to the right towards the heater blower. You should have enough room then to repair between the wing and fuse box. Maybe cover it with something to protect it from sparks or whatever else might go flying.

thats good news as all that is needed is a couple of inches just need enough space to get a dremel in there and nip the rust in the bud before it blows through.

Yeah you should get about 6" or more of slack in it so easy enough to do by the sounds of it, thought by your original description you'd be welding and cutting but I did think that was a little odd since they never rust in that area usually. Good luck with it.
Great 6" should be enough, mine is starting to rust both side on the lap joint on the inner wings and just showing through the seam sealer, not badly but will get worse if not rectified now.
