Try all the Cosworth breakers,try the various tuning companies, there must be a Cossy crank somewhere.

 

You can buy a new arrow crank for around Ł2k plus vat, not cheap but it won't break. I would sell you my standard crank but I'm not ready for my new engine yet.

 

Oil pump failure would no doubt kill an arrow one aswell unfortunately

 

Yes, no crank in the world would survive that...as far as I am aware. But the OP is looking for a new crank so I doubt he will still use a known faulty pump.

Failed pumps seem a real issue on these rebuild threads, is there a truly safe solution?

 

This guy says he says he has a std crank on his ebay listing for a 200 block, might be worth sending him a message

I have the original crank from my '86 Cosworth Sierra somewhere if you are still looking for one.


It was replaced with a new (RS500?) one in 1998 when I had the engine upgraded by Graham Goode Motors. It has been stored away "just in case" every since.


Let me know if it is of interest.
