saff boost issue
Hi all,
Having a boost issue on my 2wd staff.
Have recently gone back to stage 1. Have tried to reduce the boost to 15psi but it just keeps boosting until I release throttle. The actuator is loose and just drops over the wastegate lever.
Any advice to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers Steve

If the spring rate in the actuator is 15psi then that will be the minimum boost, e.g. -34, you may need to replace actuator or the spring in it, dependant upon actuator type you have .
To be honest I did wonder about the actuator, but thought it may be amal valve. I have a forge actuator that u bought second hand so not sure of spring rate. I know forge do a spring kit so will have a look tonight.
many thanks for your reply, much appreciated 👍🍻🍻

Oh right, know what you mean now. many thanks for the help. I probably wont get a chance till Wednesday evening now, but will bypass the amal and see what happens. I had a -31 with stage one years ago, then went to dark greens with same actuator and 21psi. I only bought the forge because it was cheap and looked better, lol. Are the forge ones any good?

Cheers for the advice fellas, spot on. Got a forge spring kit this morning, changed the spring in the actuator for the yellow one and took for a drive. boosted straight to 16psi ish. quick adjustment and now its 14psi. Well pleased. Many thanks
