Default Sierra 3 door 2.3 turbo

So, meant to start a thread for a while and just havnt had the time. I bought this car a while back with a 2.0 pinto, type 9 box etc. It's a good shell, not much apart from surface rust. I removed that and bought myself a 940 turbo brick for £500! ( waiting for the "it's not a ford engine abuse" ) Always liked the engines and after reading up on them they have huge potential and with a few basic mods can deliver standard cossie power for peanuts. So the pintos out and gone, both cars are currently sitting waiting for the transplant. Few questions I have like what brakes fit the base model? Are the hubs the same size as a cossie? And a more pressing issue is the diff, being a 1.6 it's going to s**t itself pretty quick I'd imagine but the 1.6 is a 7" I believe so I'll need a 7.5" casting and diff? Anyway here she is! Might of seen it at ford fair snuck in by the fast ford stand, managed to get her over there with my mates Dam Rs moonstone 😂

I'm also stuck for rear springs? Don't really want to buy a set as it's got coilovers on the front and brand new gaz rear dampers. I don't want to cut them But it needs to come down just a bit. Are your base models stock? I'll never afford a 3 door cossie now

May have some saph konis
But would need to look

One base model is gutted and will be a light weight car
With the 1.6 ecoboost but that's way off yet

The other is a mk2 3dr from s/f no rust but I am turboing it at the mo

The cozzy I have had for 20 years

The eco boost will be different, I've heard they're very good engines. Even the saphs are going up to silly prices now! I know it's not a ford engine but bang for buck it'll be pretty quick, and different! Just got to sort out a few things. What do you think the best brake option would be? FRS set up? It's the diff I'm worried about
