Default Mk1 fiesta restoration

Just got my mates fiesta out of its hiding place (outside) for 2 years. Jump pack and a few pumps of the throttle and 20 seconds of turning over it fired up! Its in a sorry state and we started a little bit of a strip down today. If anyone could point us in the direction of a pair of front wings and a front panel would be much appreciated!!

We had a bit of a poke about and the front ends quite rotten. We're going to start the strip down to bare shell next Thursday.

Thanks mate. It's a hell of a lot rougher than first thought, we've just put the kettle on and rolled a couple of fags to discuss the next move lol! Problem is these mk1 fiestas are so hard to get panels for and we'll prob have to make most of them ourselves which is a total ball ache

We've been on the internet a fair bit mainly eBay and we've found all the panels we need new old stock. My mate who owns the car got a price today to have it dipped, £900 plus vat! Don't think we'll be doing that lol.

We've managed to find inner and outer from wings and new rear quarter panels. Not cheap mind! At least £110 for each panel. I used to remember back in the day picking up mint mk1 fiestas for £50 with some mot lol. I bought my first mk1 xr2 for £70

lol I remember those days. I also bought 2 mk1 xr2s to build one good one out the other for a teenth of weed lol. Had a white mk1 fiesta supersport given to me for free as they owner had lost the keys, it was like new condition, we cut the roof off and took the doors and boot and bonnet off, wrote "knob jockey jeep" down the sides and got the local nutcase to drive it around town
