I MANAGED TO GET MY HANDS ON A 2.0 ZETEC FOR NEXT TO NOWT DUE TO THE FACT THE TIMING BELT HAD SNAPPED.
SO THE HEAD WENT IN THE BIN SO THE PROPER WORK CAN BEGIN.

I STRIPPED THE BLOCK AND PAINTED EVERTHING UP NICE AND CLEAN, THEN SORCED A SET OF VAUXHALL XE PISTONS FOR NEXT TO NOWT OVER XMAS TIME ON THE OLD E-BAY

SOLD ME OLD RUN ABOUT AND GOT THE BLOCK BORED OUT, SO THATS THE GAP OF WHATS BEEN HAPPENING FILLED IN, TIME FOR SOME PHOTOS

nice 1 what car you sticking it in?

 

i've herd this off a few people are they quieter sounding while you drive too if so i might go for it, gets a bit boomy on the motorways
also what markings have the mongoose exhausts got as i was told it was a mongoose when i got it but it dont have any kind of stamping or etchings on it????

 

Its getting fitted into my xr3i converted/ reshelled rs turbo it currently has a 1.8zvh engine in now running 180 bhp , but you soon get bored dont you? wonder how long the 2.1 keeps me amused

 

long enough for you to build a full blown low comp zetec turbo
