Plan is I'm going down the group a touring car route (replica) with the looks so it will be 500ish bhp with the livery and centre locks. I will be using it as a track/ race car
That looks like an awesome project mate

Ordered my cage today from custom cages. Not spoke to them before but seem very helpful.
Anyone fitted a cage from them before?

Ahh. I wasn't sure if the pics were showing properly. Been a while since I've uploaded pics and wasn't sure if I done it right
Yeah it's a little buried at the minute but you'll get to see plenty of it soon hopefully.

I got one ages ago and I had to brace it with thin wall
Tube as it was a little out of shape but now it's fine
I also thought it was a touch wide but once it was sorted it was fine

Yeah I'm gonna make some bracing for it and make it quick release. I'm thinking about shortening it

If you are planning on racing be aware during the build that you need to look at what championship you would race in and look at the regulations, some for example ban carbon roofs and theres nothing worse than building a car to race and finding no where to race it!
good luck with the build and if you have any racing questions get in touch
