Seriously thinking of looking at the new Focus ST petrol. I do a fair bit of motorway miles and although not the main concern I would like to know what you guys are getting mpg wise.
Currently got a Giulietta 1.4tb with 170 and that does 40 ish on the motorway and low 30's around town...hoping the Focus won't be a million miles off?

These are the mpg figures for the Focus ST 250 from Spritmonitor, so real world figures recorded by owners if it helps:

 

If you can stomach it a diesel ST might be a better choice for a motorway muncher. I have one and whilst it is obviously slower than the petrol, I found a bluefin remap transformed the performance to something tha can really put a smile on your face. Plus you'll get 55+ mpg on the long runs and cheaper insurance. Chassis etc is all the same as the petrol so handles exactly the same.
