Default New wheels on my daily

Fitted these at the weekend, lowered it a bit too. Has definately sharpened it up a little, rides a bit to hard for my fat old arse though

Just fitted the exact same wheels to my rs2000. Suit you fez well!

If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for them? I swapped my other set for them but were told they are around Ł800-1000 but thought they can't be worth that much

Thanks! No they weren't that much, expensive enough to give the wife a shit fit though, think they were around Ł130 a wheel.

Love those rims on the Fez. Definitely suits it.

This may sound like a daft question to ask, but here it is. What is the Fez like to live with on a daily basis? I'm debating whether to downsize to either a Fez Zetec-S or possibly an ST. My other option is to stick with a Mondeo (currently in a MK3) and go for my other choice which is a Titanium X Sport 200 TDCi.

cheers.

It's not too bad. I found the seats uncomfortable at first but I've got used to them. Me being 6'4 probably doesn't help matters much though lol. Its a tdci, I rag it pretty much all the time and it returns mid 50's mpg. Drive it steady and it's well in to the 60s. It handles really well, has got air con, heated screens, Bluetooth, dab radio, powerfold mirrors etc etc so is an alright place to be. The only thing that bugs me is it really needs another gear. 80 mph on the motorway and it's sitting at 3000rpm so that does get boring listening to it screaming it's bollocks off trying to keep up with the traffic. However I do 60 miles a day in it and it fits the bill perfectly for me.

Cheers for getting back to me. The lack of a 6th gear was my main concern. I also worry that there would be a noticeable lack of sound deadening (as there was on my Focus).
My stepdaughter has a '60 plate Zetec-S S1600 and it looks lovely and has heated leather seats as well. I still have time before my next purchase, so maybe I'll need to try a couple of test drives first.
