Well now you've had your English lesson, I would like to say what a great looking car.
Did you have to mod the inner wing by much for the mtx box to clear?
I really need to MTX mine, is yours a focus rs box?

Not a massive amount just cut it open bashed it back and rewelded it lol. Im using a focus deisel box with an atb diff as the box is a bit shorter then the focus rs, I BOUGHT it off devil developments along with the clutch it came out of his old 600bhp fiesta
Thanks everyone yeah im very happy with the car i have a few small jobs to finish it off then next year il crank the boost up a bit but for now i just want to enjoy it before winter gets here.
What clutch and flywheel did you opt for, did you need multiple gearbox/engine spacer shims? (I've got a mondeo mk2 diesel mtx in the garage)
Im not sure about the mondeo box i cant see there being much diffrent to the focus but iv not used one so cant say for sure

That's lovely mate! Very neat and tidy and I bet it goes bloody well too!
The best bit though for me is it just looks stock as a rock from the outside! You'd never expect that to be under the bonnet!

Lovely car, love the way its standard from the outside. What have you done brake wise? There's much room under the standard wheels.
Is it Caspian Blue? Looks darker in some pics but guess its the light.
Look forward to future updates

The engine is a 2.1 forge piston & rods built by devil developments with a garrett gt2871rs turbo and a kms ecu mapped by devil's. Its currently at 280bhp as its only running 9psi actuator pressure but soon il add a boost solenoid for the ecu to controlle and take it back for final mapping and see what happens
it should be casbian blue but its not the correct shade! If i ever get it painted il have it done in the right colour. When i started the project i started off with a casbian blue mk3 xr3i that needed loads of body work and a respray but i was lucky as this shell popped up for sale for Ł900 already to go so that saved me loads of money and had the massive advantage of being a genuine rs1600i
his work is brilliant mate he done my exhaust manifold, inlet manifold, boost pipes, exhaust down pipe, gearbox mount, hydraulic clutch kit and drive shafts and all of it was perfect cant fault any of his work.
iv fitted 4wd cosworth front and rear brakes as im really limited on options and couldn't afford the Ł1700 alternative lol. To be honest the cosworth brakes are a lot better then i was expecting so im going to stick with them for the minute.

the RS shells gutter rails go right to the back, yours seems to stop short like the non RS shells but could be the angle of the picture

Furry, i wasn't aware of that so just googled images. To me they look correct, even some of the mk3 pics look the same, but most do appear to be longer.
Nice looking car Rob, credit to you
