Some phone snaps from me.
Been a few years since I went to the show. It's certainly changed a lot. A lot less older cars and swarms of modern STs. Only natural I guess, and it's great that Ford are making cars that are bringing new people into the scene. It's just a shame that so many of the owners are such plebs. Endless engine revving does get very tiresome, very quickly. I don't give a shit that your car pops a bit when you rev the engine, shut up you sad little twat.
Still a good day all the same though. Definitely the biggest and best show of the year.

Top pics them. Just goes to show there is some stunning fords in the ford scene.
Ive got nothing against people who own the newer fords but imo the people who own the older fords get alot of my respect cause anyone can go and buy a modern ford and do a few mods to them.
The older fords defo need more tlc.

Great pictures 1- PD and massivewangers.
I like the new mods on the Twins car.
Is that a modified E30 ///M spoiler on the back? Car looks even better than it already did.
The white low Cortina looks cool. And always loved the Escort Cosworth in the Repsol livery.
Thanks for sharing 1-PD and massivewangers!

Happy to email you the high res ones if you'd like them Twins, though they're nothing fancy.
There were some great cars there of all ages. Some of the modified new age stuff is awesome. Just a shame about some of the owners

Wow some mega pics there, thanks for sharing. One thing I've noticed about a lot of shows now is the lack of saph cossies and mk3 escorts. They used to be everywhere but don't see many now.
whats with all the half open bonnets meaning you cant see the engine? either open it or dont. Or is it some gay faggoty "scene" thing only EMOs and dubbers would understand?
It just annoys me the whole "scene" thing as it seems to have very little to do with passion for cars but a pathetic lame fashion trend.
Just look at all the silly undrivable camber shite and fake rat look stuff.
Camber suits certain race cars for a specific purpose, not some rusty VW polo driven by a 17 year old emo.
"rat" look came from real weathered or "patina" vehicles from the US and other places where they drove well but looked shit. You cant "make" a rat car - you need decades of paint fade and corrosion to do it. Anything else is fake and contrived and looks as such.
Just the general bastardisation of anything the scene lot get thier hands on is pretty fucked up.

[QUOTE=Adam-M;6690977]Warren I agree with you there, I think you'll love this guy he's hilarious...
That was rather amusing about the dubs but he hit the nail on the head about himself. He's a cunt

great pics and badass cars! thanks for these pics.
people enjoying some time together after all the efforts on their cars, no matter what... is all that matters!
i wish we had such events down here too, but the scene is quite cold.
congratulations to anyone who's taken part of it and to all the organizers

great stand as always, thanks for organising it steve, loved all the old skool ford's on show, I thought the classic ford stand was great....
thanks for all the love for the mini it always goes down well with the Ford crowd...

Your mini is another favourite of mine, the quality of fab work in it is brilliant. Wish I had the skills to build that sort of car.
we have all modded our cars in the past to how WE liked them to be and I bet even then we were getting laughed at the older people over the mods we have done and we are doing the same.
its their car to mod how they please.
atleast they are there in big numbers either in focus st or fiesta st, they are supporting the show by turning up only us slightly older people with the rs or older cars not getting our act together and not bothering bringing our cars to the show.
how many people moaning that they want to see older cars in the show and have left their own car at home or not got it ready for one of the big shows of the year, so maybe instead of have a go at the st brigade turning up in big numbers, maybe turn up yourselves.
oh, and yes, I did turn up in my car too and too it on track.

I've had a good day.
Just too bad it took 2 hours to get in.
(Last few miles it was just standing still, they should have learned a lesson from the last few years)
Car went well @ the track.
Although the 4 wheel drifts around the corners did take a beating on the tyres
Never thought i could keep up with a Sierra cossie
(My guesstimate of 150 bhp looks quite possible.)
