A long time ago my late uncle bought me an escort cosworth replica as a 17th birthday present. Sadly, soon after he passed away. A year or so later the car was showing its age and the 1.6 rst engine was blowing blue smoke, so in a bid to keep my uncles memory alive, I found a local mechanic who apparently specialised in this sort of work and gave it him to restore.

He stripped the car and disappeared.

After a lot searching,I found my car and put it back together as best as I could. It drove but there was no lights wired and there was some rust (nothing major). Since then it has been sat in my garage.

Over the years Iv had the rst engine refurbished and also acquired a 2.0 Zetec turbo engine. Neither of which have ecus or looms and I have no idea of which ones they need. I have many other parts too including a doner car which runs and drives.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me or point me in the direction of someone who can as I really want the car to be back on the road.

Once the car is done, I would be happy for the person who helped me to keep any parts left over and the refurbished engine as good will. It's not about what the car is worth, so I'm happy to pay good money for a good job.
